As you may have noticed, updates at this site have slowed down. I am currently in the middle of a big life change, having lost my mother and my job just 3 weeks ago. Most of my time is currently being spent trying to adjust and survive – so websites are the last thing on my agenda at the moment. I will continue to update here as often as I can, but please be patient as I navigate through this difficult time in my life. Thank you for understanding.

Christina Applegate To Co-Host 2014 Revlon Run/Walk for Women

The Entertainment Industry Foundation announced that their Brand Ambassador Emma Stone will host 2014 Run/Walk For Women to fight against cancer event taking place in New York’s Times Square on Saturday May 3, whilst the Revlon’s Brand Ambassadors Halle Berry and Christina Applegate will host the event taking place at LA’s Exposition Park on Saturday May 10.

“There is nothing more thrilling than to walk alongside the amazing women, men and children who come together on one day to support the fight against cancer,” said Stone. “The EIF Revlon Run Walk is an important tool to continue to build awareness and raise funds to find a cure for this disease. I look forward to seeing everyone on what is always a beautiful and inspiring morning in New York City!”

“I am honored to once again host this year’s EIF Revlon Run Walk. It’s hard to find the words to describe exactly what it feels like to be part of such a powerful grassroots event that brings together tens of thousands of cancer survivors, patients, loved ones and supporters. The event is a true testament to the impact we can make if we band together against a common cause.” said Berry.

You can register for the event at eifoundation.org!

Wonderwall Interview

Christina Applegate grew up in the spotlight, but she’s not about to let her 3-year-old daughter, Sadie, follow in her footsteps. While shooting her second ad campaign for fruitwater — “a delightful sparkling low-calorie drink that is so delicious and a really good mixer,” she says with a laugh — the former teen star chatted with

Wonderwall about what she regrets most about her early years in the business, how she stays healthy, why she won’t let her daughter pursue an acting career until she turns 18 and more!

Christina Applegate on the latest milestone with her daughter, Sadie:

“If tantrums are a milestone, then yes, we are knee-deep in that [milestone] right now. It’s the way of the world! We had our first throw-myself-on-the-floor-in-the-middle-of-a-clothing-store episode the other day, where everyone was staring. That was a first! Other than that, she’s pretty fan-effing-tastic, and I’m really lucky. I’m the luckiest mom in the world.”

Christina Applegate on her rules if her daughter decides to pursue a career in Hollywood:

“She has to be 18 — that’s the rule. But if she wants to be an actress, she will be required to study [acting]. She’s not allowed to think that just because she’s cute and adorable she can do it. She needs to go to a great acting class and study all the aspects of the art. She needs to be in plays at school. If she wants to do this, I want her to feel that she has a handle on this craft and that she knows that she can always rely on her talent — and nothing else. So when she’s 18, she can go off and try it. But she also has to have a college education.”

Christina Applegate on her biggest regret about her teen star days:

“I would have liked to have had more schooling. I do educate myself now as an adult when there are things that I’m interested in. But I’ll always regret leaving school in the 11th grade and getting my GED.”

Christina Applegate on the struggle to stay healthy as a mother:

“It’s funny because I’m actually 15 pounds over what I was when I got pregnant, so I’m always like, ‘Oh boy, I’ve got some work to do here!’ But basically, I get up in the morning, I get my kid breakfast, we hang out, I drive her to school, I rush back and I do an hour and a half of working out, I rush back and get her, and then I rush back home and we have dinner together. That’s my day — and working out is a big part of it. But trying to eat healthy is hard when you have a toddler. I make her food so healthy, but it’s not free from calories because she’s a tiny little person and she needs them … because she actually has a really fast metabolism and we want to make sure that she’s healthy and has energy. … So [her food] isn’t normally what I would [eat]. That balance is difficult, but we get it done!”

Christina Applegate on how she celebrated her one-year anniversary with husband Martyn LeNoble in February:

“Sadie, Martyn and I stayed in our pajamas all day and had a snuggle day and [played] indoor cards and games. That was really it: The three of us just hung out together. We’ve been together for six years and we’ve known each other for a bajillion, so … it doesn’t really make much of a huge difference.”

Christina Applegate on her No. 1 beauty tip:

“Be happy — and sleep! It’s something I don’t get, but I think I would look a lot better if I got some.”

Christina Applegate on her pop culture obsessions:

“We’re a ‘Downton Abbey’ family. [And I love] ‘Dance Moms’ — it’s the only show that I have to watch by myself. My husband will not be in the same room with me while I’m watching it, and my daughter’s obviously not allowed to watch it. I don’t like all the screaming and the yelling. I just love watching the little kids dance. So I usually fast forward through the screaming and yelling.”

Christina Applegate on her diet splurges:

“I’m crazy about green drinks in the morning, and I try to eat really, really well. But I do splurge with pizza. I love pizza and Poquito Mas burritos. I have to stay very far away from them because I miss them when they’re gone”

Christina Applegate on how she started working with FabKids:

“It’s a membership program that’s easy for moms. It’s one click and you don’t have to think about it anymore. The clothes come every month. Toddlers’ clothes get destroyed, so it’s nice to have replacement items that you know are coming every month. … It’s really funny because I have bought my daughter clothes from different boutiques here in L.A. and whatever, and she gets her FabKids box and she only wears those clothes. That’s what she picks when she goes into her closet every day. I’m like, ‘What about the $100 dress?’ Of course I’m the idiot who spent $100 on a dress when you could spend $29.95 a month!”

On how she and her daughter influenced the style of the FabKids collection:

“I wanted to do a punk rocker girl [aesthetic], and they ended up doing London Calling. Sadie is very bohemian and kind of edgy, so they tried to incorporate a little bit of that. They would see her and be inspired by what she was doing, which was really great. … I would like to design more if they ever asked me to have more of a say in the design aspects of it.

Christina Applegate on the No Kids policy regarding paparazzi pictures:

“You’re not allowed to point a camera at my daughter. You have to get permission to shoot other kids’ pictures. Anyone with any decency would walk up to someone and say, ‘Wow, your kid is so cute. May I take a picture?’ But for some reason, we’re excluded from that. They have frightened my child. I almost dropped my kid at LAX because I was blinded by lights. They put me in danger. They put her in danger. First and foremost, they frighten her. They don’t allow kids to have normal lives. And it’s also very dangerous for their identities to be out.”

On Kristen Bell:

“It’s incredible what she did in one week shutting [the paparazzi] down like that — unbelievable. I’m so grateful to her. I really am. … But that’s only one step. We have so much further to go to cut off the source, and we must cut off the source. But at some point, it has to be absolutely illegal to be anywhere near a child taking their picture.”

Huffington Post Interview

Christina Applegate has been enjoying some time away from the spotlight this year after deciding to be a stay-at-home mom to her 3-year-old daughter, Sadie.

But the 42-year-old actress admits that having a bit of downtime allows her to reunite with old friends, including her “Married… with Children” co-stars Ed O’Neill, Katey Sagal and David Faustino. She spoke to The Huffington Post while promoting her partnership with fruitwater, revealing that she’s trying to plan a fun reunion.

“Ed, Katey and David and I have been trying to get this dinner together, which is almost impossible because everybody’s so busy, except for me,” Applegate laughed, ” So, we’re working on that right now.”

She added that the co-stars try to get together as much as they can, with Faustino recently attending her daughter’s birthday party. But do she and O’Neill ever talk about getting her to guest star on his hit show, “Modern Family”?

“No, no, we don’t go there when we see each other,” she said. “We just kind of catch up on what’s been happening in our family’s lives and stuff like that.”

For now, Applegate is enjoying her last few months of freedom before getting back into the acting game. The actress chose to walk away from the NBC sitcom “Up All Night” last February in order to focus on motherhood.

“It was a good time for me and a good place that I needed to go to. I really missed being with my daughter and I couldn’t see myself working those hours and doing that again. So, I decided to take a year off after I did ‘Anchorman 2′ in May and my year is almost up and my heart is breaking,” she explained. “It just means it’s been a year without actually looking for work, but it’s getting to the point where I probably should have a job.”

Still, Applegate has soaked up every minute at home, admitting, “I love being a stay-at-home mom, it’s the best, most gratifying and most beautiful thing that’s ever happened to me.”

As to whether or not she sees more kids in her future, Applegate said she doesn’t “at this point, right now.”

“I’m really enjoying just being Sadie’s mama,” she said.

“Anchorman 2″ DVD & Blu-ray Release In April

Paramount Home Media Distribution will bring Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues to DVD and Blu-ray April 1, with a digital debut March 11.

The Blu-ray combo pack ($39.99) includes three versions of the film, including the theatrical version, an unrated version, and the Super-Sized R-Rated Version with 763 new jokes (replacing jokes from the other versions). The set includes more than four hours of bonus material, including commentary by director Adam McKay, producer Judd Apatow and stars Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd and David Koechner. The Blu-ray also includes more than 90 minutes of deleted, extended and alternate scenes, plus gag reels, five behind-the-scenes featurettes, table reads, cast auditions and more.

Ferrell, Carell, Rudd and Koechner reprise their roles from the 2004 original Anchorman, as they take on the ’80s and the first 24-hour news channel. The film also stars Christina Applegate, Meagan Good, James Marsden and several celebrity cameos. The film earned more than $125 million at the domestic box office.

The DVD includes just the theatrical version of the film.

R-Rated “Anchorman 2″ Hitting Theaters for One Week

Get ready for more Ron Burgundy.

Will Ferrell’s scotch-loving newscaster is returning to theaters with an R-rated version of Anchorman 2, this one featuring 763 new jokes.

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues: Super Sized R Rated Version hits theaters on Feb. 28. The New York Times first reported the news, and Ferrell himself also spoke about it on The Tonight Show Thursday.

“When my editor told me we had a whole different version of the movie that was more than two hours long with nearly 800 new jokes, I was shocked,” said writer-director Adam McKay in a statement. But when Paramount said they were actually going to put it in theaters, I did an 1950′s spit take. If you’re a hardcore Anchorman fan go see this. If you’re not, stay very far away.”

It’ll open against Son of God, itself an edited/recut version of History’s The Bible.

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, released in December, has grossed more than $170 million worldwide. It reunited the cast from the 2004 original, including Christina Applegate, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd and David Koechner.
